Notes on synthesis, results and discussion

These sections might vary from paper to paper. In the Kyndt et al. paper, they have a results section followed by a discussion.

What the paper does is give an overview of what they see as the main features of the review, i.e. why it is important to study informal learning; a list of informal learning activities1; the antecedents of informal learning; and learning outcomes. Effectively they built their discussion around each of the major questions they identified at the beginning of the paper. I still maintain the process was a good deal more recursive than the linear representation you find in the paper.
